Drive Shaft Assembly

Laminate the two shaft guides together with cement and place them on the shaft below the spur gear. Apply cement to the bottom of the laminated haft guides and place the shaft onto the platform making sure the spur gear teeth mesh with the worm gear and the shaft is centered and perpendicular to the worm gear. Remove the shaft/spur assembly from the shaft guides and let the cement cure. Cut a top plate oversized by 10mm on all sides and drill a hole for the shaft. You will have to measure and estimate the exact location for the hole. Place the shaft/spur assembly back into the shaft guides, apply cement to the top edges of the 3 vertical plates and cement the top plate into position adjusting it to keep the shaft perfectly vertical.
