Drive Shaft Mounting Arm
Trim off the back side of the top panel then cut out a back panel 90mm x 104mm. Drill a large hole in its center 20mm aprox which will be used to feed wires through. Cement the back panel into place and let dry. Cut a piece of 1.25" (32mm) ABS pipe 500mm long making sure the cut is square. Measure the distance from the top of the gear box to the top of the drive shaft which is 420mm in our case. Now cut a 80mm notch from the bottom of the pipe (500mm - 420mm = 80mm) removing aprox 1/3 of the pipe diameter and making sure the notch is also square (90deg) to the pipe length. Cement the pipe onto the gear box making sure it is perfectly vertical and centered. You can add some reinforcing pieces or shims between the bottom of the pipe and the gear box of required.
