Shaft Arm Top Bracket

The top bracket holds the drive shaft in place and allows it to rotate. With the drive shaft aligned with the drive shaft arm and vertical to the gear box measure the distace from back side of the support arm to the front side of the drive shaft. Cut a piece of ABS flat stock to a length 10mm longer than what was measured (80mm in our case) and a width equal to the diameter of the drive shaft arm (41mm in our case). You can trim this piece as shown in the picture below then cut out two more smaller pieces and drill 3/8 holes to make a shaft guide for the top of the drive shaft. Cement the three pieces together as shown. The drive shaft should not move but should rotate easily when inserted into the guides. Test fit the bracket but do not cement it into place yet
